It seems that the new Conservative Government are going to introduce a new group reading test for 6 year olds.

Whilst many might consider a 6 year old too young to sit a group reading test it seems that the Government need a benchmark from which they can measure progress.

Group reading test results

The results of a group reading test are often standardised against a large sample of test subjects who have already taken a group reading test.

The person who assesses the group reading test is normally the group reading test administrator and he or she will have a score card with which to find correct answers for the test.
